| The system assists evaluation of certain patient conditions which may lead to a recommendation for referral, for example, for smoking cessation counseling if the patient is prescribed a medication to support cessation screening or assessment for behavioral health conditions. Additionally the system may present recommendations based on other orders – for example, an order for Adriamycin, where additional testing such as a MUGA (heart) scan or an Echocardiogram should be completed prior to administration, could result in a recommended referral to radiology, and/or cardiology. @en |
